Elliot Grover | Lily Collins | 16 | Sophomore | Taken
Blue eyes and looks that kill, Elliot Grover has always been one of “those” girls. Growing up in a family full of talent, Elliot felt as though she would never amount to anything but a washed up version of her own mother. Between her father, a major league baseball player for the Dodgers and a mother who had modeled for Chlöe and Chanel before she passed away, Elliot always felt out of place. Her brother, Edward was always the one person she could count on until he got into trouble with the police back in Los Angeles. Eddie was sent away and Elliot was left as a fourteen year old at home alone while her dad traveled the country playing baseball. Slowly falling into a deep depression, Elliot befriended her neighbor, Bennett. Elliot and Bennett had one of those relationships that could withstand almost anything. Bennett knew not to mention Eddie or her mother due to her getting upset over everything. Elliot was a fragile child that needed all the love she could get, even if she didn’t believe in those words.
After Bennett left for Crescent City, Elliot tried to hang with a new crowd which only led to her downfall. The parties, the drugs, and the hot hook ups were all a part of Elle’s nightly routine until she turned fifteen and packed her bags headed for CCS to be with Bennett. Considered a unicorn at Crescent, the blue eyed beauty remained a virgin until Bennett and Elliot couldn’t wait any longer. During her freshman year, Bennett and Elliot attempted to pretend they dated so a few of the upper class guys would leave Elliot alone. Of course, they ended up getting overly drunk and had sex together. It was their first time and not just together. Around that time, Elliot felt like she needed to break away from Bennett and become her own person. This was when Bennett started doing the harder drugs and Elliot didn’t want to partake in such extremes. She ended up meeting Jared Taylor and kindly thought of him as more than just a friend. She knew that Jared and Bennett were friends but she felt careless with Bennett and relaxed with Jared. But then all things had to come to an end. Jared said the three words that Elliot never wanted to hear and they weren’t the break up words. Elliot dumped Jared and had a nervous break down, essentially after hearing Jared had cheated on her with Reese’s older sister. Finding out what had happened from Sebastian was possibly the worst. Running back and telling Jared that she knew wasn’t exactly what should have happened. Two days later Sebastian was escorted from campus due to drugs. She knew it was all her fault.
Coming back for her sophomore year, Elliot has decided to cling to Bennett’s left arm in hopes that things will turn around and be back to normal. Even with the guilt over Sebastian swimming around her head. When Bennett starts acting like more than just her friend will she allow it to happen or will something or someone stop her in her tracks? With the release of her brother and Sebastian coming up will she lose her mind all over again? Elliot just needs something stable in her life, so will she get it?
